Catalytic Oxidation and Mechanism (COM) group was built up by Prof. Guochuan Yin at School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2008. We are trying to understand the catalytic mechanisms in different oxidation processes, and then to design the novel oxidation catalysts. The on-going projects include understanding the relationships of different active metal intermediates in oxidations, clarifying the synergetic effects among different components in oxidation catalysts, exploring chemicals from renewable biomass by catalytic oxidations, degrading wastewater with advanced oxidation technologies, and exploring new catalysts for industrial applications, Welcome to join us!
